any of you guys in BMR?

I have been told this week could be transformational for the company, they are in the process of acquiring dumps at the kabwe mine and have been for some time.

Been informed by some people that the deal is now done as well as the JORC.

If news doesn't come Monday morning it might be a good idea to put some cash in, even if news comes and the JORC isn't included it could still make you a few bob once the JORC is released.

Also very strange trading going on for the past two weeks, looks like there is a big buyer.

I've been in and out of BMR, there's always news just around the corner, I've made a couple of grand trading on the run up to the news release, selling the day before and watching the news never appear.

I'm not doing it this time, trading cash is with RRL enjoying the ride there.

Hopefully for BMR holders something might happen this time.

OK, so I've just sold RRL as it appears to be drifting and put the cash in BMR.

If all goes to plan, BMR news tomorrow or wednesday, sell, then back into RRL at 13-14p.

volume is key here, over 31 million traded, so obviously something is up. Watch for the delayed trades this evening.

hxbro - my plan is also to buy into RRL if BMR comes good

been in BMR for too long and don't think I can take anymore of this will it or won't it happen

PS heard from Johanesburg that the JORC is complete, BMR have now acquired the dumps and the only thing remaining is the transfer or application of a mineral processing license (not sure whether Sable already had this). That is from two different people, and has not been published on either the III or LSE board!

what we could do with is a couple of large rises like what RRL had last week.

I'm not looking for much out of this, 10% + whatever I might have gained on RRL if I'd have held there would be ok, 30-50% ideal, anything above a nice bonus and a nice meal out for the wife on Friday, otherwise it's a tin of soup and some bread for our valentines night out

Yea tbhfor me its a punt the money i put it was about to b taken out of my share deal account but if i can make a quick gain on it why not!
TBH Not usually like me to do this but thought we would see what happen, my biggest worry was buying in at a five year high with out really knowing what the past few weeks have been like news etc.

Everything is pointing at news this week,

Be patient, watch the volumes and do not sell too early, rumours now that we will be getting a 3 in 1 RNS

1. Acquisition
2. JORC
3. Further dumps elsewhere

my prices are ---

1. 12-18p for Acquistion alone
2. 18-36 for acquisition plus tailings
3. 36+ for future sites

I must urge you, if the RNS only contains the Acquisition do not sell, atleast wait for the JORC.


I know this is not a given and you could lose your money but I have been informed by two sources that all is good, plus some more posts by LTinvestor2 tonight who seems to be in the know on the advfn discussion boards


If it all fails then it's back down to 3p though

Too many mentions of rumours of news heard from different people from different sources to not have some news coming (although we all know rumours could be spread to just up the price for a pump and dump), in particular, if this one was right...

BMR, Well it looks like there going to put all 3 sets of news in 1 RNS. Deal ,Jorc and new acquisition .But I hope they put it in 3 separate RNS over 2 or 3 days apart .If they put all the 3 sets of news in 1 RNS the SP could go to 35p+ or lower or even high as soloman gold . No one can really tell where the SP will go, it all depends on how the market will react to the news, not long to wait ,will soon find out.

I seriously doubt we'd get 35p, but we can dream... lets see what tomorrow brings...

morning, no news yet today, a couple of 7p trades went through earlier.

On the plus side, RRL is heading towards 13p this morning

I should have probably stuck with RRL with this money with 2 lots of news out I think the target of 13-14p has gone now, and I think it'll be more like 17-20p

I'm now locked in here till the news comes, bit disappointed from all the rumours I was convinced some news would arrive by today, I think from now I'll not be following any more quick buck rumours

More rumours around, much the same really:

1. All dumps acquired from Sable, licenses transferred

2. Sable will no longer be involved at Kabwe, Metorex pulling the plug on its poorest performer. Sticking point has always been sables processing plant.

3. JORC completed and it's a whopper. Double big mac anyone?

4. Joseph Chikolwa brought in to provide expertise.

5. Further tailings will be brought to the kabwe processing plant, why have multiple plants when you can have just the one.

6. Oh and our fatty buyer has just gone above the 3% so expect a holdings update. PS fatty buyer is not just one person but a company ( work it out )

7. BMR can do this all day longer bringing in tailings from all over the country meaning jobs for the local kabwe population

a). RNS logged
b). deal signed last week
c). huge new dump next to Kabwe
d). JORC as big as a double whopper
e). BHP, Xstrata and Anglo in agreements with BMR for tailings.

Last one suggests RNS is logged, which would be nice... DYOR

but Joseph Chikolwa is very interesting, I figured that one out a few days ago after Messiah posted somebody with the initials JC was coming on board, then someone on advfn also posted a rather vague hint.

Rumour number 53275937590 on BMR:

I have been getting few phone calls this afternoon and they are saying the transfer has happen between Sable Zinc Kabwe Limited and Dorset Solutions Limited. The transfer between Berkeley Mineral Resources and Dorset Solutions Limited is straight forward as they were acting on behalf of Berkeley Mineral Resources who assisted the Company in securing the original option to secure the tailings dumps. This is major news and once the market get hold of this over the weekend then I am thinking Monday will be interesting am being told that the transfer can take up to 5 working days and also I have just spoke to Berkeley Mineral Resources and their message was "please wait for the RNS which can come out anytime. Please let this be true. Please can I stress the information I received is not always 100% right. Please always do your research.
