Get a mate who lives somewhere else to download it for you
Using encryption does not hide your IP address, but it can make harder for your ISP to detect/throttle your BitTorrent traffic. Proxies and VPNs could be used to hide your IP address, but bear in mind that the proxy or VPN owners may keep logs containing your IP address. Additionally, sustained BitTorrent activity could get you thrown off of the proxy/VPN.

If I really wanted to do this I would probably consider a massive wifi aerial, one of those linux wifi cracker things and use someone else's connection.

I always use encryption when using torrents. I download and share lots of legal content, but only allow connections / connect with encryption.
