My MIUI rom came with Fancy Widgets pre-installed which has the HTC stylee clock. There is a Fancy Widget pro which has even more stuff. I'm loving my MIUI install at the moment but part of me wants to try the new Oxygen ROM as it used to be my preferred ROM. I think it'll be too basic after coming from a feature rich ROM like the MIUI one.
Just put the latest MIUI back on after trying Oxygen.
The new MIUI (Gingerbread) will be released this Friday.
What are the fundamental differences between Froyo and Gingerbread?
I tried a new Rom yesterday and it seems to be giving me much better battery life

im currently using the cyanogen rom 2.3.3 and loving it to be honest. Very fast and very stable, I have lost sense but not missing it. I have added an app called SMS popup that works really well and would recommend also.
anybody had trouble with a sense HD rom and making phone calls?? i can recieve them find but cant here nobody when i ring out
I've been having issues with my phone getting stuck in a reboot loop so I've managed to unroot it and shit me its miles better now! Battery is amazing its still on 70% after being off charge since 7am. Ive not used Sense for so long I'm actually enjoying it. For those having problems with roms id recommend unrooting and starting again
So you wiped un rooted and then restored a default ROM, is that a current up to date ROM 2.3..?
Crash
I just installed HTC Sync on my Laptop and downloaded the relevant RUU for my phone. Mines a unbranded and unlocked phone so I used this one. http://shipped-roms.com/shipped/Brav...811_signed.exe - just run the .exe and it unroots and puts it back to factory settings.
Full list of roms here http://shipped-roms.com/shipped/Bravo/
My rooted bootloader has gone.
I really thought my phone was broke and I did this with the intention of taking back to the shop with it stuck in a reboot loop but its been perfect ever since. Worth a try for sure. 24 hours since being off charge and its still got 6 bars left.
how much have you used it though? stock roms are notorious for ultra poor battery performance.
got the problem sorted now just needed to update my radio.
ok then, i am on a branded unlocked o2 phone so would i use RUU_Bravo_Froyo_O2_UK_2.14.207.1_Radio_32.44.00..>...?
Also i am on a MAC so i guess the HTC Sync method is out the window..! Or shall i just use Windows to make it easier... I have a PC here as well...?
HTC sync is only needed for the driver thats all so you might be OK on the MAC.
How much have I used it? Admittedly not massively but its the first time since I've had the phone that i've not had to charge it overnight.
It will not run the exe though so i will have to check both options..!
Whoops obviously the exe won't run on a mac doh. I'm not sure how the unlock works as well as mine was unbranded it was easy to choose a RUU to run. I'd be nervous that by running that O2 RUU that the phone would get locked down the O2 again. Maybe someone else can confirm how the unlock works on these phones?
Would it be worth me doing the gold card thing to debrand it first. Would i then be able to just use that RUU you applied...?
After having a desire and constantly changing roms the excitement finally ran out and I just wanted a stable phone . I now have a desire hd. No custom roms no root . And I miss nothing . Everything just works . My suggestion to you all is leave ya phones standard unless its bloatware you need to get rid of. You spend ££££ on a phone because its one of the best about , and then want to screw it up by pretending ya making things even better.
