    Selling Mountain Bike

Last year I took up downhill jump riding in my spare time. I started with a carrera fury and swapped the frame for a GT Avalanche 3.0.

Bike has front suspension, front and rear disc brakes, 27 trigger gears and was serviced weeks before I stopped riding it due to upgrading to a full suspension bike. The service included all new cables for brakes and gears as well as general maintenance/cleaning.

I will post specific specs and photos later.

Looking for £170, collection preferred but I can ship via courier at the buyers cost. Also advertised in a local magazine (only submitted the ad on Monday!) so I will close thread if it sells there.

Edit: revised price, I thought I paid more for the bike originally. The fury cost me £170, GT frame cost £50 including the shop fitting it, service cost £20 plus the cables.

    Spec:
    GT Avalanche 3.0 Red Frame
    Ritchey disc OCR wheels
Continental tyres with loads of tread
    Shimano hubs
    Shimano Deore disc brakes
Shimano Deore 27 trigger gears with FSA cogs on the crank
    FSA crank
    FSA seatpost
    FSA bars
    FSA stem
SR Suntour forks with adjustable rebound and lockout (not sure on model!)
Seat has a 'C' logo on it so might be a Carrera branded one

Avalanche is a reasonable frame so should be reasonable. How heavy is the beast?

Not for me mate, I have two Zaskar LEs already and a couple of other bikes but it may be a factor for interested parties. The only other GT I want now is a Carbon Zaskar 4x but they are rare as hens teeth.

I thought I remembered you having some decent bikes when you gave me advice last year, that is one sexy bike you have there Bert. Are they bomber forks? I upgraded to a Marin Wolf ridge 6.7. Details updated for spec in original post.
