Stream movies etc to ipad with XBMC?

Was messing around last night and for the first time ever downloaded XBMC on my pc - was quiet impressed with how nice it looks and how it gets all the artwork for my downloaded movies etc. - Then I saw you can download it for iPad also (from cydia) - "mint" I thought so I did it... but to be honest I haven't got a clue how to set it up to stream content from my pc (running win 7) to my ipad. I looked for a while last night but couldn't find any kind of tutorial to help me - at the moment my ipad cant even see my pc. Surely it cant be that complicated?

You need to share the folders where your media is saved and then go to Videos------> Add source---------> SMB share and then browse to the folder you just shared on your PC. Add that and then you should be able to see whatever media you have in that folder

Yeah Ive done that (I can see all my movies that are stored on my pc when I use XBMC on my pc) but what Im saying is I want to stream those films etc to xbmc on my iPad and im getting nowhere with it - how do i make the ipad see my pc? I just cant seem to get my head round it

You need to share the folders with the media in on your PC so that they are accessible over the network then add them through XBMC as SMB shares
