Ipad - Ebooks

Guys

I want to send someone an ebook to read on the ipad.

What is the best format to send it to them in eg EPUB etc ?

What is the application they need to read them on the ipad ?

If they use Stanza then that can read .epub files mate, plus they can add new files to it via iTunes so it's really easy to use

Stanza is good for hooking up to Drinkmalk for the freebies

is drinkmalk still up im having no joy with that using stanza

Actually I just checked and it looks like their hosting provider pulled the Drinkmalk site a few weeks ago now and there are no plans to bring it back - shame as it was quite useful!
