    Default Failed Liteon Flash?

I don't know if it's me or the drive.

I had a liteon drive and somehow the tray got snapped off. I used JF to read the firmware out, merged with latest LT and flashed to a new drive. I accidentally did Liteon Erase, then Erase, Then Write where I could probably have skipped the Erase bit, but anyway.

I put the console back together, it plays Music CD's, but won't read Games, copied or original. I either get Open Tray or Unplayable Disc.

Have I done a bad flash or is it just a defective drive?

I would reflash it mate using the original firmware from the old drive. Maybe even re read the firmware from the old drive 1st ! Or you could just swap the boards over between the 2 drives.

OK thanks, I'll connect up the old drive and re-read the key.

    Cheers.

Why use dosflash when you already have Jungle Flasher open to patch the fw ??
Dump both drives and compare the fw

Just because that's the way I do liteon.
All the drives are the same , just the firm that had new protection added
So if iv got a cooked file for it I just corrupt the flash , and screw the security
And use the power cycle trick to flash.

    Plug
