    Default Brick Bug

    Was going dark and spotted this shield bug? walking along the pointing in-between the bricks on the conny, bit busy this shot but shows the underside of the beast a bit.
    looks like he's giving me the finger too.

    Yup, definitely a shield bug.

    They're actually very compliant and will let you pick them up to place them in a more suitable environment. They might wander a bit but they don't move fast. They occasionally fly off and if feel threatened, they'll secrete a fluid that smells (hence the nickname stinkbug). The one I entered into the comp, you can see the fluid on the top of it.

    Again, good one mate. They have lots of nice detail which you'ce captured well.
