Resident Evil 4 coming to Xbox Live Arcade

One of the greatest games of its generation is coming to xbox live! I am fucking stoked!

Resident Evil 4 HD


Capcom said today it will release Resident Evil 4 and Resident Evil Code: Veronica X as downloadable titles on Xbox Live and PlayStation Network this Fall.

Both titles are receiving high-definition "upgraded visuals" as well as Trophy and Achievement support. Resident Evil 4 will have all the bonus contain from the previous RE4 releases, including the Separate Ways epilogue.

I loved all the old Resident Evil games. The directors cut of the first game made me shut my pants the most. Moving all the zombies around and putting dogs down what was a normally quiet corridor! Bastards!

The first game is scary because well you moved like a tank.. had to full turn round to run away etc.. instead of just running that way

Resi 4 was amazing. For its time, but then 5 is essentially the same and i didn't like it nearly as much so think going back to it now might be a bit disappointing. Not sure tho.

That trailer looks a bit worrying. Its by a third party developer not the original team and to me looks a bit too much like dead rising or left 4 dead (both of which can't hold a light to Resi 4 or 5 IMO)

I sold my Gamecube a couple of years ago and had all the Resident Evil games on it.
Was gutted to sell that collection but needed the funds

Loved Number 4 so I will be giving that a purchase, 5 was very different and I hope if they make a 6 that they will go back to 4 at least.

Resi Games are pretty much the only reason I own and have owned a console!

Would be good if they also ported Resident Evil Zero to XBL Arcade, but I have a feeling Nintendo have some ownership on this...

Looking forward to RE4, for me this is one of the best games I've ever played. Not many games I replayed as soon as I'd finished them, and definitely not in the pre-g days. Can't wait for this :-)

Dead Space is one of the select few games I've replayed after finishing in recent years, COD4 is the only other I can think of. I did play Bulletstorms Echoes mode a lot which is kinda replaying it but that was because it was fun!
