Renting an ensuite room

Afternoon All,

I have a spare ensuite room which the old man wants to rent out to get a bit of extra cash for him as Ill be moving on soon.

I just want to know your experiences and best soultuons for renting the room, I will be looking at etsate agents etc and unsure of using gumtree, the free listings etc as I dont want to attract the twats.

Its an ensuite ground floor with parking - gated access and kitchen and stove included.

Any advice or things to do /not to do would be greatly appreciated.

I've been on the opposite side of the fence a few times recently and I used gumtree and spareroom.co.uk. I appreciate what you are saying about gumtree but it will get you the most responses. Maybe just create a new email just for the letting of the flat, and have email only settings in place?
