Is the 9504 drive just plug in and go with this USB PRO device ? No trace cutting or other clips needed ?

Might buy another xbox as my current is banned.

There have been reports of the VIA6421 working but I would get the X360USB PRO, can't recommend them highly enough after using one for a few weeks... Seriously good and Fast bit of kit, I've retired my via card to the shelf of fame with my ck1,ck2 probe 1 & probe 2 lol

thanks mate, ive been using onbaord via sata of a spare PC i have with great results, i may just try a slim with it to see how it holds up.

just done my 9504 all you need is to power the drive jungleflasher takes over with the rest.

yes its a ball ache, i know certain people on here have claimed its easier to dismantle than a normal 360 - i have to strongly disagree. Even the 'official' tutorial on the xecuter forums has photos with snapped tabs.
