Neither am I but I am sure the publicity will increase the profile of the school and surrounding area for a short time. It may even bring in business for some local businesses.

Would you rather it was Paul Robinson opening it.... Doubt that would raise the profile of the area...

Quite a coup for you council if you ask me..

Its not like the Children will be at school its easter holidays.

It will cause a bit of congestion aswell blocking all roads off. I work a stones throw away. Its getting busy now

If I wasn't driving back to Bristol today id have gone to Witton with the kids. I like how the shops have flags flying down the main road.

Anything that can raise the profile of the town in a positive way is a.good thing. You should be proud they are coming. But people in darwen and blackburn have no pride in their town which is why its such a shit hole.

I don't associate living in a town as pride.

Yes Blackburn and Darwen are shit holes but I think its more todo with the concentration of poorer people and ethic groups just about getting by rather than pride..

Now I'm proud to be from Manchester I'm proud to be British but in this modern world the royail family and the way we fund them gives me anything but pride
