Am I borderline Tourettes?

I sometimes sit in meetings or working quietly at my desk when random swear words suddenly pop my brain. I then start to wonder what would happen if I shouted "CUNT.. SHIT...FUCK... BOYS"??? These words bounce around in my head and I have to concentrate really hard to supress them, just in case I really do involuntarily scream them out.

I had my bi-weekly 1:1 meeting with my boss yesterday, and I had this immense urge to shout "FUCKING BOLLOCKS" in her face, so for the entire meeting I was sitting there applying the brakes for dear life.

Am I fucked or what?

I have a similar thing happen to me mate, I think it's a result of being on DF around Bert and several other members whilst I was still developing

I have much worse than swear words though, I have offensive and sick comments pop into my head. Sometimes I nearly say them before I think them over, one day I will get myself into big trouble.

I have a Monday 1:1 meeting with my boss as well, I don't hold back and I certainly don't suffer from tourette's (could say I enjoy having it here, if I had it) I have said "I don't need this fucking shit every Monday to ruin the rest of the week, and it pisses me off to have these conversations". Then my manager, who is a woman (most my managers have been women, and they have all been brilliant) collects herself and comes back a week later with statements like "do you really want to do this job?". I have also felt that she is not even managing me, but handling me which is quite high up on my dislike list.

I have been with the company for 14 years, and for example I have already exceeded my this years revenue target, so I have earned the right to cross the line. It's not personal, it's just business, and she knows this too, but don't come to me with xls files to fill in or other admin bullshit.

To answer your question, in my opinion you are not.

I often play out scenarios in my head where I pick up a knife and stab a family member or colleague to death. Or if I'm on the road, I imagine swerving into the central reservation and crashing at 70mph...
