    Default Jungle Flasher + USB Pro - Windows7 x64

    Hi guys,

Now ive recieved my nice shiny USB Pro case and ive got a slim on the way, i would like to use it with my new laptop, currently i have a PC with an Nvidia chipset that i use with the CK3 to flash the current drives and it works perfectly, however its in the attic and i would rather be able to do it on the laptop so i can take it to my friends and do them at their place, does anyone know how to get jungle flasher running on windows 7 x64, i have tried the xecuter forums and they stated the tutorials were out of date and you could see videos of them to see how to do it, well i couldnt find the videos and im much better with written instructions so can anyone give me some info on this please?

    cheers,

    Mystical

Im running Windows 7 x64 and have no problems what so ever with Jungleflasher.

Using the x360usb you wont even have to sign portio drivers on boot up as its already included in the chipset.

Using the 360 to power the drive for flashing will flag you for a ban!!

i read somewhere that the CK3 only needs 12v to do one brand of drives (think it was hitachi), if you are doing any others you can botch a 5v power source from a USB cable. Im not sure if this would mean you need to manually half open drives though. Mite be worth looking into if you flash a lot from a lappy.

its recorded on the nand as an event but has not been proven to flag for ban

imo its bollocks cos i bet loads get powered up with no drive when they are being repaired

i agree Rael, i've done loads powered by ck3 or 360 and some have escaped ban and some haven't, if it was true all of the ones i did powered from 360 would have been banned and they haven't.

Yeah the hitatchi 79 needs 12v to read unlock iso, the rest can be powered with 5v but as you say would need to be half open manually unless you use a pmt or probe 3 I think
