Tech Space geeks - ISS passing overhead tonight , go out and have a look

For those thats interested , the International Space Station will be passing overhead tonight , first at 21:04:11 BST , then at 22:39:11 BST

It will come up at the horizon from west-southwest and will be flying over at 45° from the horizon and its magnitude will be -3.2 , so extremely bright !

    Happy spotting

Nice one, just saw it. In a built up area here too but it's easily visible if you find it.

Think I saw it. Just a single bright light moving quite fast. Hard to tell with no bins

Didn't see it tonight. But watched it a few times in March when the Shuttle was also up there. On the right nights you could see both. Even in London.

Just upped a clip for kids mum etc. to watch.. it appears slightly to the right of screen after a little while but you can get a general idea of speed as I tried to keep some objects in it as well.. not TV quality as I used my Desire's vide camera:

Edit - just tried to watch it and looks like the conversion's knocked it out of video lol

Bright as fook, and interesting how it dissapeared mid sky, before it reached the horizon.

Because of the earths shadow as the sun has moved round a little since ISS passed over earlier
