Help Need a good deal for a Galaxy S2

OK I can upgrade one of my O2 contracts and have just been offered the following.

    18 months ( I don't want a 24 month contract )
300 mins ( I normally average 280 mins but would prefer 400+ mins to be on the safe side )
    Unlimited txts
1 gig data ( I'm normally using Wifi on my phone so shouldn't be a problem )
£37/month plus £44 for the handset.

This was offered through retensions and I couldn't haggle them down any more not even to get the phone for free.
Bearing in mind I have been with O2 for over 10 years with 2 contracts ( Both £35/month ), I thought this was a pretty shit deal. They said they could go cheaper only if I find a network doing a better deal.

Has anyone seen a better deal out there or got any advice ? I don't really want to have to pay anything upfront for the handset !

Don't want to fork out £99 although that is an awesome deal.

Off that link there is this on T Mobile http://www.buymobilephones.net/mobil...ernet/10731654

Seems pretty good but what are T Mobile like ?

Maybe you should consider changing networks.

I got the Galaxy S2 for £25 (this includes a £10 lifetime loyalty discount so it should be £35 p/m) from 3 on the One Plan, this includes:

    2000 anytime any net mins,
    5000 3 to 3 mins,
    5000 texts,
All You Can Eat Data (Truely unlimited data plan, no caps at all)
Free phone, the only drawback is that it is a 24 month contract which you said you didnt want.

That's the one I just ordered mate which DJ posted the link to. Phoned and cancelled with O2 as they said they don't price match with companies like that. Only with direct Network companies. I'll be cancelling my other O2 contract with them as well in December. That's nearly a thousand quid a year they will have lost from me the Cnuts !

Oops missed DJs link! I'm on that deal too and I've been very pleased with T-Mobile so far. My 3g signal has been really good also.
