hi am after some help please ive bought my daughter a nokia x3-o2 thinking that it would take her o2 card but the phone is asking for restriction code ? the ime num 35738704393821 can this be unlocked through the internet site if which one is best or do i need it unlocked be cable and software

If it is asking for a restriction code then it cannot be locked to o2 ?

These can be unlocked but not for free. You will either need to contact the network it is locked to or take it to a decent phone shop that uses something like the Universal Box or one that has access to the DM3 box.

Either way it will cost anything from £15 upwards.

However, if it is saying that the service/network is restricted then it is barred and nothing can be done about it.
