Had a little blast before the kids just took, over but looks very nice and smooth and seems a bit more of a thinker than gta can't really say much more as i was only in the first part which is basically just telling you how everything works...but it seems it will be pretty good.

Well i've been playing this now for a few hours and IMO it's fcuking awesome. It's like GTA mixed with Heavy Rain and when you are questioning people it helps if you've seen the tv show lie to me. You play as a new recruit beat cop driving around solving petty crime but after a while you get promoted to detective and that when it gets cool. When you question people the amount of detail put into the people's expressions is excellent. You have to decide if they are telling the truth, hiding something or lieing, all from the reactions on there faces or from the quick little glances away or lip twitches almost to the point that your looking for micro expressions. Some of the characters you see are that well made you can tell straight away which human actor they have been based on. Another good thing is the investigations unfold in different ways depending on if you have missed evidence or questioned somebody poorly. I'm definitely going to play this again after i have completed it. So far i think i'm gonna give it a whopping 10/10. Really enjoying the game play and the story.

I have just had a 4hr stint and got the same feedback as Slippy, its immense.

I am finding it hard to adjust to the tempo as I am a big FPS fan, but its brilliant! I thought I knew when people where lying...not from this game.

Going to be picking this up on launch day and wont be upset about having to replay these levels as now I know the foundations to solve them a lot quicker!

Played this til about 4am this morning, and I have to say I am very impressed at the way the whole thing has been put together.

It flows like a tv series, the dialogue and interactions between characters is smooth and realistic, and the face tech is a little creepy, but very good!

My only complaints (not really complaints as such) are that so far I have just recieved my 2nd promotion and it has been very "paint by numbers"...drive here, look at clues, question suspect, see if they look away/nervous, rinse and repeat...which while not a bad thing (it's enjoyable) I am hoping the puzzles / clues will get harder and take more thinking to work out.

I'm hoping the game is pretty long being 2 disks, so looking forward to lots more investigations.

Also must note that this is the only game my mum has ever paused the tv ($ky+) and told me to come and look at the advert as this game looks "really good"....so maybe games are finally crossing over to the "murder/mystery" older drama viewers after all.

    So far 9/10 from me!
