I do not think that it is free....

We give a discount but they still have to pay for the MS software..!

    You got a link..?

It's also worth looking at the free web developer versions in the interim. Not sure if the support the likes of Linq etc but they certainly cover a lot.

yeah ive been using the express (free) versions but it gets frustrating trying to make an application and somethings wont work because the code aint supported in that version.

i wanted to try the full version to see if i can get to grips with it, im liking it so far. and if i do well ill buy the full retail version. i just did not want to spend £100 and then shelve it like other stuff lol

am liking it so far, the ultimate version seems a lot different to the other versions and the way the code is shown is a lot better.

this is something im working on at the minute and its at a very early stage so dont take the pish.

ive got the splash screen, login and main screen done. i just need to define all the buttons and actions. on the main screen only the exit button works so far.

    www.gofiles.co.uk/Password%20Manager.exe

can peeps have a look see if it loads up ok, NOTE: xp users might need to install .net 4.0 to run this. im hoping it runs on vista and windows 7 ok.

    the username is: test
    and pass: test2

can you check the icon for the program shows ok and the splash screen graphics as well.

    thanks

this is wip and very early, i hope to have it up and running very soon and ill offer a copy to all df members if wanted.

im going to encrypt the saved usernames and passwords

@bfg is there a way to include the .net runtimes with a program build so when it installs or is run there would not be a need for the full .net4 install m8?
