my advice would to be take the dm500 and learn how to use it as they are a noob box being enigma 1, things can become a little more advanced using HD boxes as they are enigma 2, my other advice is buy nothing off falconsat!!!!
Dependent were you are in the country will determin what size dish to buy, im in nwest and have 90cm dish and get 42e-30w, I cant get 7w and 26e as they are sats that you will find difficult picking up without 1-2m dish.

yes duo is amazing you can go up and down on the status bar without changing the channel, i have not found any dreambox that does this.

Agreed the vu+ duo is a fantastic box well worth the money for what you get.Static $ky dish set on tuner A and motorised on tuner B.

I had mine set to update the epg at 4am and then restart itself little did i know when i first set it up that for a week my bird was getting up putting the tv on to be greeted by some 13e hardcore pornography as that was the channel number it was set to start up on for some reason.

Ive just bought a Blade 7000 however I also have a valid $ly sub so the Blades single tuner isnt an issue for me!
