IMO that looks fine. Mount it beneath the sky dish & it looks like the back of your house is south facing too, so it will be a much more straightforward setup.

The main problem in alignment in my (limited) experience is getting the dish angle & bracket angle right, the scales seem to be a load of bollocks even when referring to the table that comes with the motor. Get it up, you will really enjoy it when it's up & running
No sympathy for the devil; keep that in mind. Buy the ticket, take the ride...

If space and looks are a problem then a 80cm is plenty for the UK and when you mount it make sure your pole is 100% vertical or your going to get problems.

    PS,

Save some money and get a 80cm and also fix the dish up ready, run the cable ready and so as much work as possible then if you wish pay someone to align the dish for you (£50 - £100) in fee's.. job done.

If you want an installer to fit the lot your more closer to paying £150.

Agreed an 80cm dish is plenty big enough for the South of the UK....If your after 5E then you need a 1.2m dish anyway.

At my old property I upgraded from a mesh 80cm to a 1m solid and the difference was negligable

It's no where near as easy as that. It's an enthusiasts hobby. You will more than likely have to adjust your dish. You will have to stay on top of channel changes. The boxes can be buggy. And you are unlikely to get the better channels without giving something. I can't say too much. But it's more of a hobby than a way to get free channels.

Indeed those days are in the main gone....the encryption systems which were hackable back in say 2004 are now long gone and even the commercial pirate cards are gone.

The only way nowadays is card-sharing and this cannot be discussed openly on Digital Forums.
