Just thought id update you on this.

My 88cm dish has no problem with viasat.

    I never watch viasat though.

On frequency 0.8 there are 3 hd epl channels.

They work a treat and always have the top 3 games on. They also give u an update if a goal around Europe goes in.

All in all glad i took the effort in getting setup

They are great channels, but not so great if your team is on PL1 HD all commentary on this channel is in native swedish where as PL2 and 3 have English comms.

I'm leaving Sky on the 2nd December as they doubled my last bill and I don't want to pay £70 a month now. So i'm looking to set up a satellite system, but i'm a newb really.

I have an old Sky dish, i'm guessing I will need a new one? Reading this thread 80-90cm seems fine?
Also to get most things, it'll have to be motorised right?
Also after some reading most are saying get the Vu+ Duo receiver, they're about £300 on eBay. But if they're that much better over cheaper ones then I guess it's definitely worth it?

    Any advice would be appreciated

An 80cm where you are will get you most satellites a 90cm will include a good rain fade margin on the weaker ones, if your going to get the Duo then keep the Sky dish as well so you can hook up 1 feed to the motorised dish and your other to the Sky Dish, Then at least if you want to record on sky but want to watch something else on another satellite then you have that option.

P.S. dont scrimp on the LNB make sure you get a Black Ultra its probably the best on the market at the moment
