hi guys does anyone have a link to a waste counter reset program at all...? used to have sslig for other models of epson but this is not supported

this is something that was made by df vip members for vip members but ill make it available for normal users. just another reason why vip is worth the investment.

that should reset the r285 as i believe the machines are exactly the same internally. when you start it up dont worry about what printer to select - just select r270

hey Det, thanks again for offering help to others..now.. I have R240 & R245 at home showing flashing red lights, managed to find some software to try and fix and on one it's managed to reset 3 of the colours and the other no joy, don't suppose you have any help to offer me, don't really want to bin them as they can be handy backups..

cheers det, they're actually not recognising the cartridges, comes up as a red x on the display from memory..can't check as I'm in work..

1.21mb UNTESTED but checked for virus/trojan etc but recommend doing a check or running in sandbox first.

that might be the same copy you have but hopefully will help you. its not one that ive done as i dont have an r240 etc but according to feedback it works.

if its the same sort of program as the r265 model i think you can reset just about everything, should get you up and running. if it does not work let me know and ill look into it further for you

out of interest is there anything for the Epson P50? as mine is getting on a bit now.

hi Det i can't seem to get the program to communicate with the printer or my pc to see the printer,the printer is just showing alternating flashig lights i'm going to try reinstalling all the drivers for it and maybe link it up to my laptop and see if i can get any joy there..!!! failing that i'm watching a refurb r285 on fleabay as i dont want to go back to buying carts for my printer and a new p50 and ciss will set me back between 150-200 quid cheers for your help and i will have a little play later and let you know how i get on cheers Rob
