When you hit 'enlarge image' it does not enlarge them just opens them up same size

The h tags are all in the wrong order, should be h1 h2 h3 h4 etc you have h3 first ?
Your page Title will do a lot better if it was descriptive instead of just loading it with keywords.
This applies to all your pages.
Only in Britain….do we use the word “politics” to describe the process of Government. “Poli” in Latin meaning “many” and “tics” meaning “bloodsucking
    creatures”

Thats rubbish. Because of page layouts it's not always possible to put your main H1 tag above other H tags in the code.

Best practice suggests using the H1 tag only once per page ideally, which it does. The H3 tags that come before are used for menu headers, which is an ideal use of this tag. However, you shouldn't really skip levels, so he should make those H2 if he hasn't used that tag elsewhere on the page.

Having said that, the site looks like a dogs dinner and I think the H tags are thge last of his worries. I've said it before and I'll repeat, if you are serious about your business then get a professional company to design and develop your website. If it's just a hobby etc. then fair enough.

i think its looks ok but text sems a tad big, its functional and to the point but i would echo was czar says and if you get to the point where you are making good money with this i would invest in a professional design. it will make all the difference between maybe selling £50 a week and £500 a week. its not just design though, advertising it and getting it out to the search engines is hard thing to do successfully.

We do not sell placemats as we decided the shipping costs of placemats and coasters together would cost too much.
You shouldn't be telling people what you can't do on the main page.

Your full stops are all over the place, there should be one space after each full stop and none before.

Well .. it's certainly a niche market, so I doubt it would be that difficult to get it up the search engine rankings however, the site looks pretty poor really.

Is this supposed to be a professional template?
Please don't tell me you paid £250 for this???

I was expecting to come in here and find a site packed with Video's of Roller Coasters, fast action thrill ride's and really shit my pants stuff. But no, it's a bit of coloured card.

I think you have a very low target audience. These things are available in Poundland for 4. So long as it has a pretty pattern, I don't give a toss what I put my Coffee on - even a square lump of cork looks good so long as it does its job, usually it's a folded up newspaper.

I don't usually critique what people sell as it's up to them, but come on Tea Coasters? What's next Teapot cosy?

Do these things really sell on the internet? Maybe the novelty ones if your lucky and you should stick to eBay with them. All sorts of weirdo's on there already!

As for the site, it's very basic and all it seems to be is the standard layout of puresilva flogging bits of coloured card. Harsh? But true.

A better place to start and automatically makes your site look (more) professional in my opinion is Prestashop. I would suggest going with that and starting again.
Sorry to sound so negative, but I wanted to give my opinion.

As for the H Tags all over the place, this a pre-fabricated website. Created for the OP by Puresilva, he just added the products into it and probably selected a skin for it.

    Back to the beer.

    Hi Folks,

    Thanks for the comments.
Now regarding SEO this site is in a niche market and for an unfinished site is ranking good.
It will be on the first page of google in about a month for most of my key words.

"We do not sell placemats as we decided the shipping costs of placemats and coasters together would cost too much."

I put this comment for SEO reasons and also to stop Joe Public emailing me.

Already it is taking money with out any ppc

regarding enlarging images, I will get that sorted but I don't like making them too large as tired of people ripping off my designs.

I am learnign python/django myself just site will be bespoke by myself.

But I use these templates on a number of sites and they work for me.

Just curious here can any of you post websites that you have designed/run/seo or make money from.
If you can't then any advice you gave is taken with a pinch of salt

I myself go for niches. Take coasters I wholesaled 50 000 last year only with 12 designs on a template website . This year I will wholesale around 100 000 and etail around 15000 on my own site.
The product is the most important thing for me
I know some people who have sold online sites for millions.
One sold for over £30 million.
They always say product first before design, too many people get bogged down with design and waste a lot of money.

    Look at this site http://www.planetmem.com/index.htm

Now most of you will slag this site off but this site makes lots of money, I know because it is beside my kids school and I see the couriers also I know someone who tried a deal with him

My favourite site is by Marcus at www.plentyoffish.com , he made it while working, saw a niche in the market for a free dating site and he is worth millions now.

No one has done what he has done without any outside investment.
he cracked it on his own.

I can but won't. You obviously don't want any actual criticism since you know better than all of us already.

I live a few yards from that shop ..... Its an electrical shop that sell the olive oil as a side line.

You can see on streetview the board with the oil prices. They have a little red van with a disabled sticker in the window all the time.
