Just as a lead up, this TV is probably not best suited for a DF member as we like the latest and greatest. I was asked by a client to find them a TV with PVR, the requirement was a good price for a 42'' display with a simple system. Viera Link provided the simple system and the display on this model is good. It is not 3D and doesn't carry all those bells and whistles. After haggling at 6 different TV shops the best they would do is £650 with 5 years warranty. This deal has 1 years warranty.

Cheapest reliable place for this TV is Very.co.uk as it is reduced to £550. If you are a new customer and sign up for a credit account you can get a further 10% off at checkout knocking it to £495, make the purchase through quidco for a further £30 off. Good price IMO for an LED screen from Panasonic who I rate rather highly.
