Premium streams?

I am having some people over for the Haye fight and was wondering if Box Office has online streams? I don't mind paying for the fight but I don't have Sky. A recent big fight was on a strange channel and when I went to the website they were offering it legally over a HD stream for the same price as the PPV TV channel.

I plan to project the fight onto a big screen and don't want to rely on a standard stream as the quality is often poor and they always have some lag which in boxing isn't good.

Any ideas appreciated, been looking forward to this match up for ages so want to watch it in style

Looked into sky player and I can't see any mention of it being available there. In the Sky FAQ there is one section which is titled: Which TV programmes are not available to watch live on Sky Player?

In that section it lists:
Sky Sports: HBO boxing events.

I think the fight is an HBO event shown on Sky Sports HD Box Office.

Is anyone aware of any other premium stream services which you pay for but are guaranteed an HD no lag stream?

I use liveonlinefooty (it shows all major sporting events now)

Its �3 a month and it will definitely have the Haye fight. Stream quality is excellent and hardly ever had any buffering / lag. They have additional servers now so you can always connect to them. Plus stream starts really quick.

Oh and Ive hooked it up to my TV for streams in the past and its been great.

I assume the 1 day pass doesn't offer the boxing or not as high quality as the �2.50 version. Will give the site a go and if the stream is slow at 8 I will have time to find another.

Must be a new price tier, but yeah the boxing channels may not work on the 1 day live pass. �2.50 aint bad

If any of you use XBMC there is a plugin now for LOF so you can watch it on your TV. (http://forum.xbmc.org/showthread.php?t=99422)

I used it at the end of the last footy season to watch the 3pm games on my TV. Works really well and quality is definitely watchable!

Yeah, cheers m8.. When i try to log in using windows xbmc i get the error user name and password incorrect. I know it isnt cause i can log in direct from a web browser. Using latest xbmc also. Any ideas?

I think I am a HD Snob. I can't watch sport or movies in SD anymore, definitely couldn't stream them. I am a sell out.

ive got the stream on now and picture quality is good, i paid �1 earlier today they were doing a days access before 3pm. then it wood be �2.50 after, i got a bit confused by that but emailed them to see

What a waste of money online footy is, I'm glad I'm not a footy fan, stream is crap and keeps dropping so it's back to not watching it here, I wish I hadn't bothered!
