Default what is used to create these sites?

    hi
I'd like to create a site which is basically a rip off of this kind of site:

    http://www.gfxtra.com/

    http://www.byhero.com/

    http://www.downturk.info/

looking at them, they're essentially the same template but how do they get their content?.. It must be some kind of bot/rss feed?
how could I replicate one of these types of site and where do I source the content/bots/rss?
I can't see someone sitting for hours on end sourcing all this stuff..
    any help advice is appreciated

Wordpress can handle all of the above and there are some very nice themes to play with too.
Only in Britain….do we use the word “politics” to describe the process of Government. “Poli” in Latin meaning “many” and “tics” meaning “bloodsucking
    creatures”

http://www.byhero.com/ uses Datalife Engine, not sure about the others.

A lot of the posts appear to be made manually by users from what I can see.

thanks, I'll look into datalife engine

as for posts/content I was hoping the site was using some kind of feed or scrape to fill the site on a daily basis, almost like an autoblog I suppose..

    Hi
add the addon "wappaliser" to your firefox and when you go to any website it will tell you not only all CMS CSS used it will also tell you which extensions also used. I dont know what I would do without it.
    cheers
