Interested to hear what you think about it. Wonder if the new sense makes much of a difference? Also what's the camera like compared to the Desire.

Very interested in this, still can't decide between the HTC and the Samsung.

Never used an Android device so I can't compare between sense and Touchwiz.

Sense is by far the best front end, there are a few 3rd party copies that are OKish but really Sense FTW

I can't make my mind up between this and the S2. All the reviews point to power and memory wise go for the S2. But the new HTC Sense looks awesome. I can't upgrade until August so I will be watching all Sammy/HTC threads with a great deal of interest. Are there any other Super Smart Phones due before September/October ? It's quite amazing how Everybody is jumping ship from Apple though. Have they missed the boat maybe ?

My Mrs has had the HTC sensation a week now and I been messing around with it the last few days as I had my Desire HD stolen on Thursday
There is not a lot of difference, just a bit slimmer. The battery is supposed to be a lot better but still on yellow now and after a full charge!! The hands free speaker jack input is on the top so looks a mess when charging in the car! The screen also feels a bit plasticy compared to the Desire HD. Not seen a Samsung s2 but just waiting to hopefully getting a replacement desire HD through house insurance

The screen is Gorilla Glass like the S2 but being slightly concave probably feels different.

I love my Sensation to bits, but even compared to my 18 month old 3gs, battery is awful. Some mornings it hasn't even charged (i put it on overnight)..so it could be faulty. Have spoken to Vodafone and they want me to take it back to the shop where I collected it (hopefully to swap for new one)...boss and friend both have S2's and Touchwiz looks awful (like how I would imagine a very cheap IOS Chinese clone would look)...That being said my mate actually swapped a sensation for the S2 and he (and my boss) both love it to bits. Each to their own I suppose.

okay, gf(and myself) are torn on these phones(sensation & Galaxy sII).. none of us have had an android device and so this is the first venture into this world..
I've seen both working now and can't decide really between the two although my GF is leaning towards the Sensation. She is currently on iphone 3gs and in last 90days so wants an upgrade, I've got a bit longer to wait so not too bothered at the moment...
is the Sensation the one to go for? must say it does seem good and build quality seems great..

opinions and advice please much appreciated.. I get the feeling she's gonna be dragging me to the shops to 'help' her choose very soon..

also anyone know of the best deals on these devices at the moment?..

You'll get opinions both ways, I think that Sense is currently accepted to be the better UI and HTC for me have the better build quality, can't wait for next Weds!!

I moved from an iphone4 and went for the sensation for the build quality. The SGS2 felt like a toy after being used to the apple build quality.... Not regretted the move one bit, it's a great phone.
