    Default Website database

    Hi
I bought a website in Prestashop and it blows chunks, cost me loads and even more for a prestashop woman to make a mess of sorting it out for me. If I change ot to Joomla/ Virtuemart or OScommerce would I have to start from fresh or could anything be used from the database? and if so how? would I have to hire somebody?

    Hi
Wow this is great, but is it to convert a joomla site to prestashop (why the hell would anybody want to do that!) Prestashop sucks... thank you I will look at this.
    Best wishes

the overview looks to be a integration of them both mate, how big is your shop? it could be worthwhile starting again using a joomla component

there are a few shopping components out for Joomla mate, Virtuemart is the most popular of cource but there is tienda, Joomshopping, SimpleCaddy and redshop.

Really depending on how big and complex your own shop is mate

    Hi
yes, mate I am familiar with Joomla and that is why I want this site to be in it, I have a busy online shop now using joomla/virtuemart which I love, a lot of the joomla 1.6 ones are now not virtuemart but this is my preferred choice.I chose the eshopper theme from shape 5 because it has virtuemart.
    thanks again
