I'm in about 6 minds at the moment, including keeping it or buying a different (hc) tablet but mostly I fancy trying out a 7" device, maybe an original galaxy tab or dell streak 7". I'm certainly not desperate to get rid as it's getting better by the day.

I've just read that they've fixed the camera in vegacomb so that's another thing working ! amazing work.

Yup - and USB mode can be changed on the fly as well now - no need to reboot. Think this update now includes enough to persuade me to move over from Corvus.

Well I have one of each...well strictly speaking thats a lie, I have 4 touchpads and 1 vega......the screen on the Touchpad vastly outclasses the (what can only be described as) dreadful Vega screen. Also the feel, look and build of the Touchpad is far superior. That said, The Vega running Honeycomb really is a flying machine....very powerfull and quick even at stock cpu speed, and if you hit that sweet spot viewing angle, its great.
That said....when Android is on the Touchpad, that will be the end of any comparisons....the Touchpad will completely outclass it in every category. In fact I should probably think about offloading the Vega.

    Thanks to tronads

I should hope the tp is miles better considering it cost fuck loads more to start with! They are 2 very different machines and not comparable.

Theirs a new ROM for the vega called honey ice, based on vegacomb and some ICS parts.

Looks nice so far and very responsive.

Newbe5 the main man with vegacomb has been quiet over the last month or so, I read a post where he hinted that he's offically working on vega 2 software with manufacturer.

So honey ice might be the best supported at the moment.

It won't with a stock rom. But you can stick a ics based rom on and it will ;-)

I havent really used mine for a few months, however wouldnt sell it for £80, its still worth more to me. If you have use or a tab and can put up with screen ( actually not that bad when straight on, i always joke its a security feature you cant view it at an angle to stop people looking over your shoulder!) then its wortwhile as good to play about with changing rom's etc as it cant be bricked and has decent hardware specs.

Do you know what ROM's on it?

EG - My honey ice vega doesnt let me on market since changing its name to play, this can easily be fixed by a data wipe or I could intsall a new rom, waiting for ICS port to come out as beta.

Visit tablet roms and have a search, their is a mine of info, or if you need a hand give me a shout.

I still have vegacomb on mine, but using it a lot less since I got hold of an Asus transformer Prime. Decent tablet, worth £80. Stick a modified rom on it, or it is shit. Kids use mine.
