    Film Quickly edit videos...

Over the past couple of months I've been using Hypercam to record "how to" videos on different applications and such on my laptop. After that I'm popping it into Windows Live Movie Maker and adding captions, breaking it and adding music and uploading it to YouTube. What I like about Windows Live Movie Maker is it allows a custom output size, so I can output a good quality video.

Lately it's being funny with some video imports I need to convert in AVS first, and then often it's hanging with random error messages.

Any recommendations for a different video editor? Main features I like are setting a HD output format and being able to easily add captions and customise them.

If it does these things easily it could be worth a punt.

Gave it a shot, didn't like the support for adding titles and credits but I love the management/customisation of subtitles. It was a very small download so I'll use it for that and "finish it off" with WLMM.

Here is a test video I made with it, http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=IQnx2SR65WA

looking good, but i think it would be better with a voice over rather than a tune in the background
especialy if its made as a tutarial.

I agree. Problem is that it's hard for me to get some quiet time around the house with the little one.
