Which sats?

Hi Guys, finally got my dm 500c working again. Long story, but i had to jtag it, then build a null modem cable to bring it back to life. Anyway, done a full sat scan, but there r loads of channels, some that r not for me. So my question is which sats do u use? Also When i edit the bouquets it dosnt save for some reason ( something i need to play with ). Cheers.

I am currently using 13e, 19.2e, 28.2e. More than enough channels for me, although I only use it for Sport. I don't watch any thing else on it.

I can find every game, usually in HD and with English commentary.

I pick up viasat no probs using an 80cm dish, which also needs realigning.

I get Viasat on a 90cm dish in Lancs. Some are black (not subscribed to them) and some are missing audio.

At the moment Viasat Nature East FSS is perfect

snr averaged at around 63% on Viasat Nature East FSS. A lot of other channels am getting 31%

Just to clarify, I can't get the Norge or Sverige channels because they are covered by what's called the Nordic beam, I get whatever's on the Europe beam where 80cm is ok. You just need a quality signal of about 40% and above, obviously the higher the better.

Ive been moving my dish like a mother fucker trying to get it in on the euro beam and having no sucess

I've just checked a few via sat channels and it only seems to be the footy ones I'm missing. Can any 1 confirm they can see stuff on the pl channels

They might not be broadcasting if you have the signal it will work if you have a subscription to the channel

the pl channels will be black - until there's a game on..



viasat is in year 2 of a 3 year deal for english premiere leauge (iirc) - that's the best choice right now.. I know a few people who use it
