Batman seriously needed a reboot and was a hundred times better. This spiderman seems too early and doesn't seem to improve vastly on the 1st one. Just a shame spiderman 3 fell well short of the first two.

I still don't know why they are remaking it. IIRC Sam Raimi walked away after Spider-man 3, because Raimi left the actors left so they had no choice but to leave it be or reboot again.

This one looks pretty good but the last remake is still fresh in everyone's minds. I just hope the new set do Venom more justice and introduce Carnage.

I was under the impression this was Peter Parker as a teenager, so the biggest problem he'll be dealing with is wet dreams and premature ejaculation... I can't seem them introducing Venom this early on let alone Carnage.

Looks like they are sticking with the comic "web delivery system" rather than the Sam Raimi web-in-arms story line.

When I said 'new set' I meant the new sequels to this movie, I know they won't be introduced in this one

I never understood why he was omitted from the last set of films, he played an integral part in the cartoons. Also would be nice to see Kingpin but I'm not sure if that would translate well into the film.
