Same here been waiting for ages and sort of lost interest now. But no doubt this will rekindle my interest. Been playing Rift which is a breath of fresh air and the visuals are great on it IMO. But will definitely pick this up to give it a go when its releases.

Depends which version you go for. The standard version is £40 which is the RRP for most PC games. Its just that when a game is released it is hardly ever sold at the RRP.

40 is a bit on the high side for a pc game but that's cheap compared to the collectors edition which is £120!

dont get me wrong ill still pay for it , mind its only £35 at shopto.net but i think i might want the digital copy. Is this game in beta at the moment ? i wouldnt mind a quick try!

It's in a very secretive closed beta. Hopefully they will have an open beta to test server loads etc. closer to launch.

Launch date announced today. 20th December 2011 in North America and 22nd for Europe.
Looks like it's going to be a Star Warsy Christmas!

Thats great ill be booking the 3 days off over xmas so i have 2 weeks off . I might preorder from origin because i dont wanna have to worry about getting the game delivered in time etc. I want the free mount that could save me loads of time but the extra £15 is it worth it hmmm its kinda just like buying gold bth

I tryed rift i just couldn't get into it, used to wow i guess lol

I still like rift, certainly kept me occupied for longer than wow did, but neither can beat eq2
