    Tech Wi-fi signal strength software.

    Hi all

A friend is a having problems with his wifi signal. I just wondered if anyone knows of a simple all-in-one tool that would identify signal strength, channel broadcast, encryption type etc. of all detectable networks that i can check out his problems.

I used to use netstumbler for this 'type' of thing but not got it anymore. There are some apps out there I but wondered if anyone had any recommendations or personal preferences. One i have found is called maxidix wifi suite (freeware).

Wi-Fi Analyzer for both the iPhone and Android platforms, inSSIDer for the PC & Linux, and KisMAC for the Mac.
