Birmingham Riots.

Last night i was fortunate enough to be with a great bunch of guys (2 off duty police men) and we went into the town centre to document the happenings. I hadnt got my camera on me so had to make do with a nex5.


Some photos from the evening..



<-- 30 seconds before there was about 40-50 youths running towards them throwing bricks, bottles, anything that would hurt. The Police here showed true courage and dedication to preventing them getting into the bullring shopping area!














I have much respect to all the police out tonight! Keep on going boys and girls!

a nex5 is ideal for this sort of work, not too big and a decent sensor, a lot of the current shots floating around are from iphones and so on, some are fantastic quality too.
