Another illness in police custody

The police could have picked a better time >

"An investigation is underway after a man became seriously ill at Wembley Park Police Station after he was arrested on Wednesday afternoon.

The 24-year-old became ill after he was held for possession of class B drugs and an offensive weapon by officers from the British Transport Police at Northwick Park Tube Station at 2.30pm.
He was taken to the police station where he was rushed to hospital after failing ill.
He is currently in a serious condition.
The Independent Police Complaint Commission is investigating the incident.
The watchdog will look into the run up events leading to the man being taken to hospital including the cause of his illness, whether the police or custody staff could have prevented him becoming ill, and if he could have received medical treatment sooner.
Investigators will trawl through CCTV footage taken at the tube station and from the custody suite where he was held.
Commissioner Sarah Green, who will oversee the investigation, said: �We have met with members of the man�s family to discuss our role and our investigation will seek answers to the important questions they no doubt have.�

So What!

another thug with a knife? dope head ? or drug dealer? Why do the police always have to answer to these famillys who obviously have no morals and always want to blame somebody for their offsprings behavior. No wonder this country is fooked. let the blame game start so the tax payer can pick up another bill for the poor lads illness. I am not saying he deserves it but the guy wasnt picked up for kicking a ball againt a wall was he. Where is justice for the people and victims of the recent riots? The average joe on the streets who abide by the laws of the land,ie not walking around with weapons, drugs etc always have to cough up for these pricks who want justice for the way they were treated when arrested.
