Dissapointed by the result but we switched off in the second half and Sunderland deserved to equalise.

Henderson was anonymous throughout. He'll need to buck up his ideas if he has any intention of keeping Kuyt and Meireles out of the team.
Downing, fared better but again, apart from that one great run he had where he hit the crossbar, I don't think he contributed that much. I'm still excited by him though.
Jose Enrique, well, didn't get forward as much as I was expecting to but he looked decent. Nothing spectacular but I think that surmises the whol team's performance.
Charlie Adam was by far our best debutant and probably our best player today. Looked very solid, great vision, great dead balls.

United sounded good today. Cleverley was involved in everything by the looks of things. The only worrying thing was that De Gea sounded dodgey. Young sounded like he played well and i back him 100% now. Rooney seems to have carried his form over from last season too.

Overall a win away for United.

I think Liverpool will only get better. But they need to learn to be motivated in every game if they want to challenge for the title. I feel like im watching England every match. The foriegn boys seem to have more passion these days, surprising.

De Gea has has a dodgy start but he is at the best club as he will get great advice and encouragement from seasoned pro's that have won leagues and cups. He will come good as he is a quality keeper and he can only get better

WAY to early to be slagging the lad off, he's clearly NOT another Taibi. I honestly think he looks nervous as fook, hes dead young and is now at a big team playing at hte highest level for that club, its a new thing for him. Add to that the difference in style of european keepers and european games and its clear to see he will take a bit of settling. He doesnt even know his defence yet or what they are likely to do in situations. For sure he should have done better with both the goal yesterday and the 2 against city but I back him to go on to be one of our greatest keepers. Eric Steel the goalkeeping coach is the best in the country and will get him sorted out in no time. I dont think he's ever had it as physical in spain, watching el classico last night your not allowed to fart near a player without the referee blowing on his fuckin whistle. West Brom clearly sensed the fear in him and went for the jugular.

i am a bit confused ?? i know i support W.B.A. but i didn't think utd were very good at all yesterday ! The commentators were creaming themselves over them too ?? they had a good 20 min spell in the 1st half but other than that they were made to look ordinary ... i mean they won the game 2-1 by having only one shot on target !! very very lucky to get the win in my opinion ....on the plus side i think the baggies will surprise a few this season

I agree I thought we played nothing like our best. Also I think that west brom raised their game considerably agianst us as the smaller teams always do, I think you will take points of some big teams but will struggle against the lower teams.
I think the commentators were getting a bit excited too, it was the little speels where we had 95% possesion over you in a 15 min period and things like that. I also think cleverly is a good player and to be honest he has done nothing more than he did on loan last season but because its a bigger higher profile club then he will get more applaud. Thats the way it goes unfortunately.

We play like that most weeks to be fair but let in stupid goals .... I think Utd look a lot weaker this season ....The new goalie is no Van de sar !! Cleverley Smalling Wellbeck Anderson to me are not proper Utd players ,they are not in the same league as previous utd teams like Giggs ,Scholes,Neville and the like .... having said that Rooney looks on fire and that diving ex villa scum looks to have made a great start to his Utd career ... If my team can't win the title (and they won't !! ) then i hope Utd win it ...a team built over years not bought in one !
