the curse of the phlegm

anyone else here hate phlegm? ive had a chest infection for about a week and been coughing up so much yellow/green stuff i could paint the walls with it.

anyone else had this bad or am i just fat, ugly and unfit?

yeah but not recently, the thing that pisses me off is its useless you cant even use the stuff as glue!

I've had it for about 3 weeks. Was bad the first 2 weeks as it turned into a full blown sinus infection (Blocked ears was the pisser ), now just back on my chest and have to go for an xray next week.

I've always had a problem with phlegm, ever since I was young. Think I might be lactose intolerant but I like chocolate, milk and cheese so haven't tried cutting dairy out completely. When I was younger I tried soya milk instead of normal milk for a few months but it tastes like shit.

I had pneumonia about 6 months ago, had a cold for 3 weeks beforehand that I just couldn't shake off, the greenies were mega once the anti-biotics started

@davey52 there must be something going round because everyone i know has this infection or had it. its lasted nearly 3 fucking weeks now, hope i dont go down the same route. i went to the docs last week and he asked me how long i had been smoking lol, never smoked in my life. gave me amoxycillin and an inhaler.

It was by far the most painful infection I've ever had, the antibiotics soon sorted it though, the doc gave me the highest dose available outside hospital, and yeh he asked me the same, me neither lol

fuck me, ive had this now for 3 weeks, ive had amoxycillin antibiotics and all that did for me was give me a fooking yeast infection, my nob is itching like a bad one.

going to have to go back to the docs to get my chest infection properly cleared and also now get rid of my yeast infection.

even with the antibiotics it never really went, just was not as bad or green. still coughing shitloads of the stuff up tho.

Mines taken over 5 weeks to clear, but still taste it sometimes....

update: my chest infection is just about gone, i can still feel a bit of congestion in my sinus's etc and still coughing a bit of phlegm but nothing like i have been.

now the little one is poorly with an ear infection (second one in 3 weeks - first was right ear now the left).

ive never known as many bugs to be floating around than there is at the minute
