4.3.5 reliable JB

i know it is tethered, thats not a problem

could someone point me in the right direction of a reliable 4.3.5 JB?

im on 3gs

tried one by googling but although it looked as if it had done the biz, cydia wouldnt launch

you probably just needed to re jailbreak it in redsn0w with only the "just boot tethered now" option ticked only to get it running properly.

Have seen this posted on a few sites regarding downgrading without SHSH blobs to get back to 4.3.3. Only 1 or 2 claim to have been successful with others saying cant do it.

Anyone tried it?

iFaith can get SHSH blobs for unsigned FW but is only compatible with:

* iPhone 3G[S]
* iPhone 4
* iPod Touch 3G
* iPod Touch 4
* iPad 1G
* Apple TV 2

So iPad 2 support is out but in this case it could help bigfergie. I have heard very mixed reviews about iFaith though so would be interested to hear if it works for anyone on DF.

So if you keep the Device changed u don't need to keep rebooting via pc?

Tethered devices only need to be connected to he PC if they are turned off/rebooted/run out of battery. Keep them turned on and charged 24/7 and they won't need to connect to a PC. Some Cydia apps require a reboot to complete installation.

If you wanted a untethered exploit (you can turn the phone off and on without the need to connect to a PC) then you could try the iFaith method but it is not a completely reliable method. Always back up your phone in iTunes before you try anything like this.

I'm gonna be trying the iFAITH on ipad 4.3.5 but reading the success story's on this there aren't many lol

If I had a tethered JB and a iFaith compatible iDevice then I would give it a crack but I have untethered iPhone 4 and iPad 2.

keeping an eye on your battery strength isnt really that big a deal

on untethered, i hardly ever ran out of battery or required a restart

as i say...it's not that big a commotion

or is it?
