Best non-smartphone?

I'm looking for a relatively simple phone, with good battery life - so smartphones are out.

Don't need access to the internet or anything like that - only really need calls and texts, but would like something that has a smooth and quick interface, unlike the crappy £20 phone that I use currently.

Does such a phone exist? I guess it isn't possible to get android on non-smartphones?

the best non smart phone i have used has been the sony ericsson K800i, those are obsolete but you may be able to pick a decentish one up off ebay quite cheap, really good battery life and an excellent camera.

I used to love my W800i Walkman phone,
Another one I loved was the Nokia 3650 with the round bottom, again obsolete and very old but 2 phones i'd have back any day of the week

Simple phone eh? You cannot beat a Nokia 6500 classic. The Sony phones mentioned above are ok but awful to text with

If you wanted a super simple phone I'd get a 3210 or a 6310i.

The 3650 had the shittest keyboard ever..i had the 6600 that was the best on the market until the N95 and then as much as I hate to say it Apple took over

Have a look at nokia 6233, It again is in old phone but it's a great handset , big tactile buttons , long battery (2 weeks standby) and easy to use s40 UI . The sound quality is better than any iv ever heard ,from the inbuilt speaker . And it's very loud .

I still use mine for the camera when I go out as it stills put the camera on other phones to shame.
