Iphone 4 tomorrow

Hey people I'm getting an Iphone 4 tomorrow and was gonna JB it but was wondering does it damage the phone and can u reverse it and what benifits is there to JB it?

No damage, it can easily be undone. It allows you to customise the entire phone with tweaks, skins, utilities and some people even use it to get free Apple AppStore apps!

If you are getting a new one then chances are you will currently be stuck with a tethered JB on 4.3.5 whereby you have to connect the phone to your PC if you reboot it or it runs out of charge.

ah dont like the sound of that lol when did that firmware come out? if it does need to be charged via pc i can remove it tho and the phone will be back to normal?

Are you buying it new? Are you aware that the iPhone 5 'may' be released in a few weeks?

ye upgrading my contract my m8 just done it the firmware he has is 4.3.3 can this be JB without any issues? , ye i know the 4gs is coming out but the handset will prob be a fortune lol

4.3.3 is the easiest jailbreak yet and is untethered i.e. you can restart the phone without any problems. Using the 4.3.3 phone goto www.jailbreakme.com in Safari and follow the instructions, takes seconds! 4.3.4 and 4.3.5 are both tethered jailbreaks.

Tethered jailbreak only affects you if you restart the phone, turn it off or if it loses battery. Other than that you can use the phone like normal, charge it like normal etc.

It's not that much of a chew, I've got my iPad as a tethered JB... once in a blue moon if the bairn turns it off or I don't seat it on the dock at night... and it's a 2 minute fix anyhoo.
