The first two seasons were mint. Season 3 was a pile of dogshit, i hoped it would be good cos I was living in Belfast at the time. Will give Season 4 a chance but it better not disappoint!!

Agreed season 3 was the weakest so far.

I might wait a few weeks and download a job lot and watch them in one sitting and take it from there.

Yes, I gave up during season 3. There's only so much cringing one can do with regards to American perceptions of Northern Ireland and the 'troubles'. Jesus Christ, what a load of shit.

Oh dear...I am gutted to hear that it goes downhill.

The N.Ireland accents are woeful, probably the only flaw in the first 2 seasons. If Charlie Hunnam (a Geordie) can pull off the American accent so well why the f*ck can't they hire actors who can either do the Irish accent or even better hire Irish actors!
