    Question Touchpad and webOS

How many people here have a Touchpad or Palm phone running webOS? I'm wondering if we might have a forum for these devices or more particularly webOS since it is to be continued in the absence of hardware from HP. Perhaps we should have a separate forum just for such minority, displaced devices where we can help each other with porting software etc. Thoughts?

I think it's a minority device mate, and naturally will drift off as support dries up and units are replaced in the natural progression of things. I think the natural home is the general gadget forum, http://www.digital-forums.com/forumd...ys-amp-Gadgets and of course the android forum as/when android gets ported.

Android may well be the saviour of the touchpad but as time goes on, I am getting to like webOS and am hoping that, along with the 1 to 2 hundred thousand that are due to be sold in the last tranche over the next month or two, the number of owners will swell enough so more people keen to see webOS development.

It's very slick and very fast and my iPad in now sitting idle most of the time..
The touchpad is currently sitting on the touchstone and exhibition is brightening my evening with some great HD shots..

There are, however, several dedicated forums for it so they keep me happy..

    cheers
