    Question Recommend a Bike?

    Some scrote made off with my bike, insurance estimate is 5-600.

    Use it for a bit of commuting to work and going off road into the hills in Derbyshire

    Any suggestions?

    Oh hardtail preffered ta!

    It all depends on the insurance payout I'm waiting for total claim is circa 900 but I imagine the slimy swines won't pay the whole amount for the damage/thefts so around that I'm leaning towards the gt welshpete suggested seems a good spec and good frame for the cash.

    There are a few Zaskars on Wiggle...great bikes IMHO. The one I linked to is the most expensive...perhaps Bert can comment coz I know he has at least one, if not more...

    i allready have a giant xtclx mountain bike but am looking for a road bike for 400 or under
