Reset BIOS to optimised defaults again (RAM voltage to auto, CPU advanced features all on again) and swapped out the OCZ gold RAM for my G.Skill Trident RAM and it has been on for 48 hours. I had previously tested the OCZ RAM with memtest for 12 hours with no errors, had swapped the sticks around, tried both dual channel sets of banks and tried the sticks individually so had put that to the back of the troubleshooting list but looks like it could be a power problem with the RAM even though the mobo specifies the OCZ on the compatibility chart and not the g.skill.
Anyway I am leaving it idle until tomorrow afternoon to test, if all goes well I will give them my RAM and purchase myself a new set, then replace the original RAM under warranty and keep it for another build. This way the customer ends up with memory which cost over £100 where the memory they had installed cost around £55.
