Live Sky TV on my Asus Transformer

Working completely lag free and with full sound.

I'd be interested if anyone can figure out how I've managed this. I will of course spill the beans, I'm just wondering, and yes it is live, not a recording/video

no neither of those. Is there a beta android client ? I'm glad that's on it's way, it's something I miss from my iPad.

no it's not from satellite. I don't have sky but use my brother's login for sky player

yep that's it. SplashtopHD and the associated mac (or pc) streaming application.

I've tried them all, pocket cloud, logmein etc and this blows them all out of the water for functionality and speed.

what better solution (currently) though ? a silverlight capable always on pc anywhere (revo perhaps?), running sky player and streaming via splashtop to your tablet anywhere you like.

Using Splashtop myself now on an iPad. Never thought I'd find anything as good as iTap RDP, but this is a serious contender functionality wise, and beats iTap by a country mile for streaming video and music.

Tried this and it's great but I can't get it to connect over 3G on the iPhone. Any reasons why?

I just tethered my phone to my tablet and connected fine, it's a bit more sluggish in controls but seems ok

can someone with a revo try the splash top streamer on it please ? this might see me swap mine from linux/xbmclive to a windows install, just to have always on sky player access available

Saw this on your Twitter and was very happy that you got it working. Shame both my Sky Player activations are in use on my XBoxes though :-\
