I have an e-mail i want to forward but not allowed if i right click to copy says "you cannot forward or otherwise copy the contents of this document. This document is set to prohibit copying and duplicating". I have also tried to print screen but will not give option to paste can it be done? im sure it can

Can you print it to PDF or use a screen grab software like snipping tool in windows 7?

Its on a machine i will not be able to load any software (works) sorry should have said

Login to another pc and rdp to it? Could use konboot or whatever it was to go in as the local admin on the other pc?

Is your email system Exchange 2010? If so then from what I've been told taking a photo is the only way if the message has been configured securely.

If it's in a webpage rather than outlook or another mail progam, ust go to view, source and you will get the source code for the entire page, including any text unless this is linked in.

This is total bull. It's your email, someone has addressed/sent it to you, it belongs to you. Simple.

Print Screen -> Paint -> New -> Ctrl-V-> Save -> Done -> No!?
Ctrl-C -> Ctrl-V?

There is a way - most definitely, I've never heard of an email that 'Prohibits' this.
It must be in HTML and has a Javascript inline to protect it (which is a seriously lame way of doing it BTW).

You can open the email in it's own window and click Actions > Other Actions > View Source (in Outlook that is).

It opens via lotus notes ive tried all sugestions above taht dont involve outside software without sucess apart from remote login not had chance yet thanks everyone for your help

Sounds like the system he is reading it on is locked down by system administrators not the program he's using.

Cant you forward it to your personal email?

It's Rights management. Take a photo, it's your only hope unless you get the person who sent it to you to send it again without the do not forward, do not print, do not copy option.
