I put bf3 on my 19" acer monitor as a quality test as it's more geared towards gamer's than my 24" and I have to say I'll be sticking with it

I am getting 60fps @ 1440 x900 on Ultra compared to 35 ish on my 24" Monitor

Just having a break from a 1.5 hour session. No crashing today but I'm not sure if it's down to the game being patched or the fact that I updated my BIOS and Chipset drivers before getting started

Mine activated but when I went onto the battleblog it wasnt activated, well I cant see the guns anyway. I'm at work so launching the game through log me in is probably not the best idea

By the way anyone suffering from BSOD or the game freezing and the sound stuck on "BRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRR" (like me). It looks like it's a Punkbuster issue as I haven't suffered a single crash when on a server with PB turned off.

I have read some threads in the BF3 forum and people have hinted that it could be something to do with Realtek on-board audio drivers causing some sort of conflict with PB or the Nvidia digital audio.

All I know is that by staying away from PB enabled servers, I am able to play problem free. This of course isn't ideal as it won't take hackers long to come up with some clever cheats on the non-PB servers.

Well I built my new i7 rig and wow. Loads better.

Running 3d mark 2011 worked fine but on loading bf3 single player it crashed as soon as the second level started! It just minimised and couldn't get the window up again.
Haven't even tried multiplayer but by the going by the EA forums and here the game is very unstable at the moment.

I had my first crash earlier. Flying a chopper about to blow the shit out of a tank and the game crashed and made a contestant buzzing noise. But after like 15-20 hours of gaming one crash isn't to bad.

The worst I get is that on occasion the screen has a couple of bright green lines on site for less than a second. There was always going to be a patch out with 2 weeks anyway. If you remember with BFBC2, there were major connection probs with the online gaming so they have sorted that out and in comparison to Black Ops, this is a much better firsttime release!!

I have an EVGA GeForce 560Ti graphics card and after reading a thread over at the EVGA forums I installed 'MSI Afterburner' and down-clocked the 'Core Clock' speed from 900 to 850 and hit Apply. The game managed to run for 30 mins, until the round stopped, without the game crashing/minimising to desktop. I believe EVGA are due to release a BIOS update for their card in the following days.

Found out something interesting chaps, well for AMD Graphics cards anyway. I have been having no end of trouble with the game crashing, graphic corruption and glitches, after a bit of digging about I noticed that 11.9 CC is the only catalyst control centre which has a separate package for x64bit machines.

I completely removed 11.10 ( AMD Recommended Driver for BF3 ) Installed 11.9 and the game is running as smooth as silk. Not 1 single graphic corruption, glitch or AMD Display Driver has stopped responding! I did loose about 3FPS during multiplayer, but since I'm playing the game with 1440 x 900 and getting roughly 55-60fps ( Now ) I can't really complain

how do i download the game without buying it again. i have a product key (real one) have damaged my disc due to kids. could never get to play multiplayer and had to repair install but now it wont let me click the install button as it does nothing. think my only option is to uninstall the game and start again, but as my discs are damaged and dont run i wanted to download the game and use the serial key that is already attatched to my ea account. anyone know how to do this?
