Whine Cold calls about investing in vintage wine??

I have had three different people call me about these investments. Each time I have made it clear I am not interested but they keep calling.

The worst was today, it was a 'senior investment manager' following a call earlier this week from a 'junior' in the same office. He obviously doesn't know much seeing as he thought I had hundreds of thousands invested but he went on and on and accused me of not caring where my money goes as I invest in the oil exploration sector. They have my address, office line and main telephone line. I got home today to have 10 missed calls from them (withheld number) and then had another call which I was in to answer. I said I am not interested, I only have limited funds etc. but he went on and on and I bet he calls again. At the end of the conversation he put on a strange voice and shouted 'Many Thankings', at this point I thought he was taking the piss as he is obviously an underpaid call centre staff member.

I know they make their money from commission and I know places like this do not care about rules and regulations. I am signed up for the telephone preference service (or whatever it's called) and they still call. I make it clear I am not interested and they still call. I can't see any more I can do and even if I have fun with them and take the piss I bet they select the option on their screen to request a call back so I get another team member call me. I had a missed call yesterday from another one of these centres, after looking up the number on google it turns out it is a centre trying to sell phone contracts. Stumbled on a page where an ex-employee had submitted details about how they operate and it made for quite disturbing reading.

Anyway wanted to see if anyone else is receiving these? And how do you deal with such call centres? It has gotten to the point that I don't answer any withheld numbers on my office phone, I leave it to go to voicemail, if they leave a message then I know it's legit but I worry this could be losing business or making a bad impression on genuine callers.

I should have noted it down, he mentioned it but I didn't go any further. Strange thing is he said my details were on the shareholders register but the name he had wouldn't have registered anything to my office line.

I have had other boiler rooms call in the past but none have been so persistent especially when they hear I am not interested.

Only in Britain….do we use the word “politics” to describe the process of Government. “Poli” in Latin meaning “many” and “tics” meaning “bloodsucking
    creatures”

I wonder if the FSA would have anything to say about the way some of these groups conduct their business through persistent cold calls. Just to be clear, I have not answered a call from this company yet so they may well be polite and not call me again when I make it known I am not interested.

i just tell them to fuck off now when they ring, no iffs no buts i tell them im not interested but if they dont say bye then its a barrage of abuse and then i hang up

i didnt ask them to fuckin ring me and if im after something then i will contact them
You know he grew up as a little shitspark from the old shitflint and then he turned into a shitbonfire and driven by the winds of his monumental ignorance he turned into a raging shitfirestorm. If I get to be married to Barb I'll have total control of Sunnyvale and then I can unleash the shitnami tidal wave that will engulf Ricky and extinguish his shitflames forever. And with any luck he'll drown in the undershit of that wave. Shitwaves.

Thought as much. Was never going to invest but now I know they are likely scammers rather than annoying legit salesmen.
